Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW OH company to find and qualify candidates for their Embedded Software Engineer position. This person will have full software life cycle engineering and post development support responsibilities for new and existing products. This is a 12-15 month contract.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have 3 years+ developing software for embedded systems. C++ experience is required. Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of electrical hardware and circuits. Code Inspection, debugging, and unit/module testing experience, Rhapsody, PolySpace and/or Code Test experience are required. Candidates must be familiar with root cause analysis (8D) and structured problem solving. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience with the following is preferred: servo motor controls and/or communications; experience with real time operating systems, and knowledge of Graphical User Interface design and development; Prior medical industry experience; and knowledge of FDA Software Development Guidelines.
